Most modern battery and power tools, test equipment and small plant. We also buy retail returns and clearance stock through our wholesale division.

We tend to stay away from older battery tools (NiCd batteries especially) and budget or supermarket brands. No transformers, heavy plant or non-working tools. If in doubt, email us.

We use 3 basic rules to decide condition, using the drop-down menus on the Sell page.

Perfect – Lightly used, unmarked, original case and accessories (where supplied).

If you bought this from us you would expect it to be in excellent condition, ‘like new’, probably less than 1 year old. Also use this group for unused tools.

Average – Good overall condition, will have marks from normal use, original case (where supplied).

Typical of what you would expect of a used tool in good-to-average condition. All working fine, and good appearance. Should have original case (where supplied) and any accessories originally supplied.

Well Used – Still working fine but rough appearance, with or without case.

For tools that have been around and well used, not pretty to look at but still do the job they were intended for – with or without a case and accessories

Once we receive your tool, we will assess its condition and test it. If the tool passes and the condition is as you described, then we process your payment. If the tool fails testing or we differ on the condition, we will email you with details before going any further.

You can still request the tool be returned to you without any further obligation.

When you receive our ‘offer’ email, you will be asked for Paypal or bank details so we can make a fast direct payment to you. All details are secure and encrypted for your security.

Shipping your tool back to us with Evri takes 2-3 days. Once your tool is at our depot, we GUARANTEE to assess and test it AND make payment to you within 24 hours (exc weekends).

Once you have accepted our price estimate, if you have a small tool, we will send you a Hermes shipping label. You must pack the tool and print off the label, then take your parcel to your nearest Hermes collection point. If you don’t have a printer, the Hermes shop can print one for you. If you have a big tool or multiples, we will send our courier to collect from you.

Yes, we provide a fully tracked and insured transit service using Hermes. If it goes missing in transit, we will cover the loss. Note: This only covers loss in transit, not damage – it is your responsibility to ensure your tool is properly packed.
