6 Month Warranty for Used / Refurbished Power Tools

All our tools and equipment go through comprehensive in-house refurbishment process. All tools are professionally tested, electrical tested (PAT) and checked for full operation and performance. Some tools are serviced prior to sale (details provided in the product description). Only when they complete testing are our tools passed and ready for sale.

Every pre-owned / refurbished ToolExchange item comes with our comprehensive 6 MONTH GUARANTEE (excludes batteries). Should the item develop any operating fault within that time, we will take it back and repair it free of charge, or give you a replacement.

Batteries:
All batteries have a finite life which we cannot test for. All pre-owned batteries supplied with our pre-owned / refurbished tools come with a 14 DAY RETURN WARRANTY. If the battery does not perform for sufficient time once you have used it, you can return it and we will replace it. Please be aware that small Ah batteries have a limited power use only for small tools.

12 Month Warranty for New / Unused Power Tools

Tools listed as New or Unused (usually ex-display items) carry our 12 month guarantee (excludes batteries). Should the item develop any operating fault within that time, we will take it back for repair or replacement.

The ToolExchange guarantee excludes the following:

  • Physical damage caused by dropping or other breakage or misuse by the user
  • Water damage or any other impairment outside normal use of the tool
  • If the tool has been used for anything other than its intended operation
  • If the tool has its warranty label removed
  • If the tool has been opened or a repair attempted by anyone other than our technicians
  • If the tool has been modified in any way.
